GEOCACHING FAMILY TREE
I am going to attempt a new project.
I would like straight forward posts only please - I have to extract data from this.
I want to try to put together an Australian Geocaching Family Tree. This will give a pretty good idea of the connections between Australian Geocachers.
I will construct it originally in Family Tree Software and then publish to the net. I expect it to be a continual work in progress.
What I am after is the following :
Who introduced you to geocaching (cacher ID)? This will be your PARENT.
If you came in via some other method, such as a specific article or search engine, then list that as NON-CACHER - [reason]. Only list two parents if you consider them equally responsible for getting you started.
What is your caching birthday? When did you start?
If you wish to be listed as MALE, FEMALE or NO GENDER. I expect teams will take the NO GENDER option. In my case, I am female and am certainly the primary member of the team, I'll list as female.
Your initial caching state - this is a bit flexible. Effectively it is your BIRTHPLACE.
If you know anything about your grandparents, add that too, but only if it's information not already appearing.
Infact, feel free to fill in others that don't post here too - the idea is for it to be as complete as possible.
If your children have their own caching names but have split away from the team, list them as children.
Thanks!!
SUMMARY :
YOUR CACHER NAME, YOUR PARENT/S, BIRTHDAY, GENDER, BIRTHPLACE, OTHER RELEVANT INFORMATION

Great idea Sam ... daresay there will be some distinct groupings along state lines, but that's probably to be expected.

I dig it, though you'll probably get a lot of root nodes (ie a forest instead of a tree).
