I might give these a go as swaps:

Campaign launched to save lives and bush from cigarette butts
Australian smokers now litter 7 BILLION cigarette butts every year. As a result, 7% of Australia's bushfires are caused by discarded cigarettes - that's over 4,500 fires a year caused by cigarettes and smoking materials.
To combat this, leading environment groups have joined with fire authorities and retailers to launch Australia's biggest ever campaign against cigarette butt litter.
Clean Up Australia, Planet Ark and Landcare Australia have distributed half a million Go Green pocket ashtrays into 1,000 Coles Myer retail stores.
Reusable and fire-resistant, the pocket ashtrays are designed to make it easy for smokers to do the right thing with their cigarette butts.
The potential fire danger of cigarettes is a key reason why fire authorities are backing the campaign.

Speaking of plastic bags. Anyone know where you can get the Green Coles/Woolies style polyester eco bags without the shop names plastered over them?Geof wrote:Say no to plastic bags
Our old signature item the EcoTeam Calico shopping bag just isn't trendy anymore
The new ones might be a tad harder to fit into a cache though...

I have mozillas flash player turned off and popups turned off too.
Easy. Went for a wal around the school on playground duty today. I could not get over the number of butts behind the buildings. I like to ask them to pic them all up but I know I'd just get laughed at and half the kids that sit there didn't have anything to do with putting them there in the first place.
Next smoker I catch is going to have a pretty big job ahead of them!

I'm really surprised to see you condoning those revolting green Coles bags Eco-Team...EcoTeam wrote:Anyone know where you can get the Green Coles/Woolies style polyester eco bags without the shop names plastered over them?
I consider them to be a far worse blight on our landscape than any amount of lightweight plastic bags...
Now if they were made of cotton / linen, then that would be different...
If the Australia-wide adoption rate of these revolting green bags is any where near what it is in Lane Cove then our environment has NO hope...

Ok I disabled "Play Video". It seems to have mostly fixed the problem. The prompt to download the flash player now dosn't come up . The site is still way slow on my PC but that could be my PC .
I installed microsoft virtual machine to play with reverb's new webcam cache the other day. May be that's how it came to be enabled.
