Tekko Caysh are going to DUBBO - Are YOU???

Post by Cached » 22 February 05 5:49 pm

Hi,

I've formed a team of three over here in SOUTH AUSTRALIA to head across to the Dubbo gold rush event in June. Our team will be called some variation of TEKKO CAYSH.

Entering as Corporate/Paperless.

We've organised our transport, our team members, our name, our uniforms.

We're working on our logo and our flag.

Come on guys - what plans have YOU made?? Oh, thats right, Sydney is a bit far from Dubbo for a long weekend....

Team Derringer will be in Dubbo in September to find a few caches.
We love travelling to new places in the country for caches. :D

He he. Come June long weekend I might be willing to give it away.

I'm pleased to see the interest. I fielded a call from Wagga today on another interested team enquiring on joining the fray. Nomination forms will be hosted soon to make organisation a little easier

Spent the afternoon caching with Mix and Team Pi. Was a good one too with the failing light, nice weather, good company (Thanks Pi) and FTF.

Check out how we replace caches back to their GZ out here!

Nah - only joking. Thanks to VRA for the FTF and Team Pi and mix for the Pics. Retrieved a two dogs travel bug "Bug Me #3" from the cache.

Sounds like Sydney better not come because from the sounds of it "TEKKO CAYSH" are going to sew up the paperless trophy.

Some of us do have social lives that don't revolve around geocaching.

Mind you Some of us would like a social life..... My work schedule has just been blown out of the water. What is a long weekend?

A long weekend is when you are tired on Monday morning because you had a "Long Weekend".

Get off the wine, get the pen into the diary and tell the CO you are feeling stressed because The Bronze has set the date and you can't back down from the challenge. If he has a problem with that my number is 0411444334.

Mix - I would suggest the airport as it has security 24 hours and is out of town and it's just a simple matter of one of us picking i! up.

For a closer location I would ask 'Blueheeler'. He's a pilot and connected to smaller properties and would know the Avi community and perhaps someone near town with a hanger etc. There are a few hire car places available with reasonable prices (unless you want a minibus for a school excursion  )

Yep - Two within 50 meters of the hall. One West and the other North. That mean I just have to remember to go the opposite way to find my bed. So if I split the difference and head South East I should be fairly right.

50 Meters North on the other side of the train lines.
