GC.com server busy

9:30am Sunday, GC.com is down - "server busy" error message.
So much for todays caching - bugger.
Never seen a busy message before

It has happened to us on several occasions and at that time(9.30) as well. I think that the yanks decide to fiddle with the site and forget that people on the other side of the world are awake. A little note a day or two ahead would be a thoughtful idea. At one stage they did notify of site down times.

It's now 11 am and still the site is still down. I did a Hypertrace to the site and all is ok, so I presume they are doing something radical at the site.

I hope there are no new caches added to the approval list after about 7pm last night. I cant get in to approve them and will shortly head to work. Sorry to any who placed caches and wanted them to be approved for today. I'll approve them late tonight.
