I was serious, I wish to see a 4WD forum please... As for Dave and his canyons, it must be winter.... hasn't been a canyon post for a while.. :P

How rude of me!
I should have been inviting every cacher in Australia to my Sydney canyon trips in General Chat!

Can I have seperate electronics geek and canyoning forums please? :D

At the very least I think the Bronze should get his own forum :P

EcoDave :)

Hi swampgecko,

Since you're a fellow Pajero owner now, you may want (if you haven't already done so) to check out the Pajero 4wd Club of Victoria's Forum which contains some of the best info on Pajeros in Australia (akin to GCA  ).

Thanks but I am already a member, :D, of their forums...user name.. swampgecko... very informative that forum. The reasoning behind the request for the 4wd forum here is that there have been some interesting discussions spread across the different forums... and since a good minority of geocachers seem to have a common interest in 4WD's....

Eco Dave.... try here :P :P :P :P

How about a general offtopic forum (as originally suggested), and one big long thread per hobby in that area? Swampy's getting cars stuck in mud thread, EcoDave's gravity defying in a wetsuit announcment thread, Fred's (not his real name) recreational trespass for fun and profit thread, Bronze's Zen and teapot art thread ...

One big, evolving dumping ground with no maintenance required.

Just a thought that sprang to mind, it might suck.

I think that the 4x4 one is a good idea.

Also, a GPS one - What to buy, tips & tricks etc.

That's what the hardware/software topic is for, amongst other things.

The description for that section reads like it is for PC stuff as opposed to the actual GPS. Maybe that needs updating a little?

It doesn't make any difference to me how many forums there are. My favorites points me to the "latest Posts" query and I get the latest on all forums anyway. Actually, at work it is my default log on page on IE.

Looks like we may need to ask for a pajero 4wd forum on GCA  ....it looks like Webguy has picked up an early model today (as advised on the pajero forum)......not that we need to talk about how to get out of trouble
