Just to clarify,

All scouts are welcome - just not to many of the short annoying "How much further" version! It was suggested by a couple of guys here at Red Ochre that we should be careful that the scouts (Little one) don't get to involved because the weekend is for caching, not long weekend sitting.

See you all there. Especially Leaders, Rovers, Ventures and whatever the girlie ones are called - they will be a force to be contended with. The again there are the Routers and Team '80' coming too.

Pleased to post that Red Ochre Plans seem to be coming along well. The showers have been tested and found to be hot.

Catering has been offered by the Scout leader and I have accepted so there will always be hot food available over the 24 hours instead of just stew but we will need to know numbers attending and who prefers takeaway and who will prefer eating at the Inn.

This brings me to the third point of business.

Nomination forms will be posted soon with just over 10 weeks to go. These need to be posted back but will will be accepting nominations right up the the event start. A couple of small changes need to be made tot he wording and then we will email them out and find a space on the web for the printable version.

Gold Production starts next weekend as does cache maintenance to ensure they are all up to spec. A few of the newer teams are hard at work hiding caches.

Other things shortlisted to be done:
* Firewood
* Trophies
* Sponsorship finalised
* Nomination team price finalised
* Deciding on a limiting number of teams for enjoyment / safety.
* Information packs - CD's with GPX and GSAK files. Print outs.
* Shortlist nearby Motels for those who be soft.

The Bronze.
Here a nice big picture of Mix to wake you up.

The Beni Challenge was the last time that Kate really enjoyed caching. We would love to come up again. We're not sure what is happening with work, but going by recent experience we'll be very lucky to both be able to get away.
