You actually give your kids GPS coordinates for where you've hidden their eggs. :o

When we first started, the kids would leave little margarine containers with lolly stashes up at their grandparents farm, with coordinates, hints and everything for their cousins to find, since it was uncommon for everyone to be there at the same time. then next time we went up, there would be a list for ours to find. Was fun for a while there =D>

When I was a kid we always had to follow a piece of string around the house to find our birthday presents.
My kids had to follow clues around the house to find their presents.
My daughter always wanted a dalmatian, and when she was 12, we got one for her birthday. The clues led her around the house, got her dressed and fed, into the car, to her uncle's place at Ballarat, then a clue there got us out to Smythesdale west of Ballarat, to the breeders place, where further clues led to the puppy. We stopped the birthday/clue thing after that, it got too hard!

There is a cache outside your work (Not placed by me! That's the funny part!)

You have no issue with sitting a couple of metres away from GZ, to eat your lunch, spotting cachers trying to find it, then see if they try to outwait what they think is a muggle..

(I have been successful both times i've tried this! HAH!)

(also, to add to the discussion above..i had a map to find my birthday pressies..)

On a cache of mine: Vertical Bushwalking this log appeared.

Found it 22/Apr/2012 # 169.

Found today, unintentionally, as my boyfriend had planed a secret cache for me at the top. I found this first as it was only 5m from his cache. After finding this cache, I found his, and to my suprise an engagement ring! He got down on one knee and popped the question! <3

He is now my fiance!

You spend several hours with the GCA map and google maps open while you plan all your stops on a road trip around which towns have the most Geocaches close together...
I suspect it's going to take me 6 months to drive from Melbourne to Brisbane.... :-k
