You know you're a Geocacher when............................
..when you hide the kids Easter Eggs in a temporary multi..in a pine forest..whilst camping on that weekend..and the kids didn't know how to use a GPS at that stage. Did this to ours and friends kids, before we were really busy caching. Ended up being 3 hours of entertainment for the adults and 3hours of frustration for the kids doing a 4 leg multi over a couple of km's.One of the clues was a rolled up piece of paper inside the one (and only) egg found on the waypoints and it was still sealed in foil. The kids thought they had one chocolate egg to share between 6 until one of them clued it out and the quest continued.

You buy your own birthday present for the kids to give you as an excuse to get that great backpack - just for geocaching.

Every time you take the kids to their weekly event, you go and look for the caches in the area, rather the go back home/sit and wait for them.

You find ways to be available, when you normally wouldn't, to take kids to their weekly event.....

Also shows that we are both cachers, when we give each other co-ordinates to meet at for the start of a caching run

Only problem is that mother has no interest in caching!! I can't quite work that one out. Her idea of a GPS is Good Personal Space!!setsujoku wrote:Or in my case uncle (posspet).
