You have to ask why they stamp their web site address on the pencils if they don't expect them to be taken away. They should thank us for the advertising!

You know you're a Geocacher when...............
Your Driving home from work & you see a Car Number plate (GA9393) & instantly think could that be a GCA Movable.
& When you get home you Google it as well as look on the GCA site to find out that it is not a cache at all.

... when away on a work trip with a bit of "tourist time" and you are being taken around some sights you can't help but feel around the railings at a lookout to see if there's a micro cache there...

For some reason, at work, your coworkers are discussing the whole "steal someone's garden gnome, and take photos/send postcards home" thing, and you are just sitting there, twitching in your seat.

When you spot a garden gnome at the bottom of the swimming pool after the kids lessons
Oh yes, this weeks scramble toys are little gnomes and one had sunk and was sitting on the bottom of the pool

You're helping out at some crazy bike event, when a cyclist rides by with a garmin attached to the handlebars. Instead of thinking "Yeah, surely they're just using it to get to the finish line easily, you know, what a logical use for a GPS?", you think "yep. Gotta be a geocacher."
...so if anyone WAS at Capital Punishment today, around 2..thanks for confusing me.

... when a new cache pops up, and you find yourself at midnight, on a jetty, in rain squalls,
with huge waves splashing onto the jetty, waiting for a break in the waves so you can duck down
onto a lower level to look under the jetty for a new cache. Of course the cache was washed away before it was even published.
It's about 3 degrees, and you're 61 years old and you should be in bed with an an electric blanket...
