You know you're a Geocacher when............................
Re: You know you're a Geocacher when............................
That's actually a game we play... You get points for pointing out a place on the news or in a show where you know there's a cache.

You know you're a geocacher when ...
- you start telling the locals something they don't know about their territory (even though you're totally new to the area) because you read about it on the cache description page or found out about it by doing the cache

One from this weekend just gone:
You know you're a cacher when.....
While visiting a friend in another city, after running a pocket query for the general area, you notice there is no cache in the park closest to their house. You check the hollow logs and other good hiding spots in the park anyway, just in case a puzzle or multi cache ends up there.

Even though it's 38 degrees you sprint to the top of a hill to get a cache (Simon and Garfunkel) because it makes sense to spend as little time in the sun as possible.

You know your a geocacher when:
1. You log into the GCA forum several times a day at work to cehck the new posts
2. Your plan your evenings around when your caching partners are free.....
3. A good Friday and Saturday night is spent caching to the wee hours of the morning......
4. Your phone dies and the replacement must be suitable for geocaching applications no discussion.......
5. Your caching Bag goes everywhere with you and has everything you need to find, place and repair caches but no 1st aid kit
6. Your arachnophobia is not prevalent when you are night caching in the bush.......because the cache is more important then some spiders
7. When you pick your geokid up she asks "are we caching today Daddy?" and your response is "of course chicken its all planned"
8. Your home office is over croweded with containers of various types, condition adn different stages of construction...and you cant see the desk.
9. Your email in box is always crowed with emails for watchlists, owner logs and new listings.
10. The "quite" times at work are spent : checking your webmail for new lisitings, researching the next area to find caches, planning the next cache that you are placing and generally doing evrything geocaching related when you realy should be working!
