UK government on GNSS: A Study of Critical Dependencies

Post by MavEtJu » 28 March 18 10:11 pm

I found this two month old document from the UK Government Office for Science about "Satellite-derived Time and Position: A Study of Critical Dependencies". See https://assets.publishing.service.gov.u ... review.pdf for the link. Chapter one and two are the most interesting.

Short version: Oh dear, we're f*d if They(tm) want it.

Long version: It looks at various issues, both in signals, receiver failure handling and impact of absence of the data on the devices which used it.

Enjoy your read,
Edwin
