Places with great cache density
Places with great cache density
I just came back from Japan on holiday, and I noticed that in Osaka, in parts there were caches almost every 161m, and there were power trails of phenomenal distance and number of caches (just check it out on the map). In what other places is there great cache density??

For distance (not density), you can't go past the Burke and Wills series - http://wiki.geocaching.com.au/wiki/Burke_and_wills

Re: Places with great cache density
I hesitate putting the words 'great' and 'cache density' in the same sentence but seriously, almost every major Western capital city will give you pretty full-on cache density these days. The bigger the population, the moreso. Add in a tourist destination (eg. London, Paris, etc) and you'll ramp that up even further.
Germany's pretty loaded too in terms of overall density, and the US is probably your powertrail HQ - especially Nevada.

And yet on some maps there are big gaps even quite close to the CBDs. However I get the feeling this is where a lot of unknown or multi caches end.
Back in about 2010 in my early days I noticed a big cache void out around Windsor Road in NW Sydney. That's well and truly filled in now!

Did this B&W one recently, GA2486, but it had leaked over to GC from GCA, and is now GC45P3F.
