This morning we received Found logs on nearly all of our caches. The logs were by donuts4711 dated 1 April 2015(April fool?). Some of our caches were published after this date. This team appears to have joined GC on Feb 8 2016 and logged caches across Vic, Tas and SA all for the same date. We checked our nearby cache log books and could not find signatures so will delete the logs.

Report it to groundspeak as well so they can just remov e the user and delete all their logs.

They've 'found' one in Latvia now. On the same day they found caches in Germany (different areas) and caches in SA, Victoria and Tasmania.

I had a post on one of my disabled caches in SA. The finder had nearly 3000 finds. By the time I worked out it was bogus and deleted the post he had over 3000. Checked 3 hours later and the finds was around 2800, so it looks like lots of us are deleting.
But if you are going to do an April Fool at least do it on April 1

They are the fool.

Is there much difference between what donuts4711 is doing and all the Australians who've logged "Armchair" http://coord.info/GC3JC5T ?

Just curious. :-k

I see no difference. Only thing different is donuts4711's logs get deleted.

What am I missing? I don't get it. Two sets of co-ords for a trad that was published only 4 years ago and an invitation to log without signing the log in a physical cache. :-k ](*,)

Well no more. Big brother GC.COM has archived this one as it is not allowed. About time.

And yet, the bogus logs still stand and can still count towards challenges. ](*,)

Would be a good one if chasing the challenge of thousands of km between finds on the one day

I think this is a major case of SPAM and it is not only on this topic in the forums. .Edited to make sense. Some one want to decipher this and see if it relevant to the forums. Thankyou. EDIT. What I refered to as Spam has now been removed from each topic. Many Thanks..

I don't understand your comment. Why don't you think that people shouldn't discuss this? And coming here three months after the last comment to say so.
