The Garmin experiment has not succeeded it would seem.

Interesting. I was always a bit sceptical about if a site called 'opencaching' would work been run by a commercial entity...
I wonder if they will continue to renew the domain name?

Went to search for one still in my Gps last week in Kuring-gai.Couldn't find it, but then again if I did there would have been no way to log it. Some contempt that they do not seem to have made arrangements to relocate caches with ground speak or other listing sites, like GA. Though this one would not have Made the cut without further work due to its location, I'm sure there would be others that would.
Of interest I did locate another unauthorised container placed for the Oxfam walk in 2014.

They got off on totally the wrong foot with the community by using the Open Caching name. Surprised they persevered so long.
