Congratulations on 5000th GCA Log!

Post by pjmpjm » 30 September 14 11:03 pm

Congrats should go out to our hard-working rogerw3 for his 5000th GCA find yesterday, at the Narrowneck Old trig station. He had to walk 20 kilometers to achieve this goal and, if you add up all the walking he's done in recent years, both placing and finding caches, the trail would lead 2/3 of the way to Mars.

(If you added up all the kilometres he's travelled by train, then the total would take him to Pluto!) :D

So . . . good work, Roger, and thanks for all the many, many caches you've placed for us, both GC and GCA! =D> =D> =D>

Geocachers, have a look at the stats -- caches placed in NSW -- and send some congrats. I think rogerw3 deserves a better response than this! (Thanks, Yurt!)

Congratulations Roger. A mammoth effort. =D> =D> =D> =D> =D> My measly 300 pales in comparison.

I may be far away but I do see your name pop up on cache "planned" and "watched" lists often, also your name in many, many logs.

It's a great pity more cachers wouldn't do as you've done and have a fair crack at GCA's rather than simply chasing numbers (and often boring caches) on GC.

Waz.
Echuca.

Congratulations Roger, way ahead. You have been to many great places that most of us will never get to and also found many, many great trig points that others can now visit. Well done!!!
Hopefully your effort will encourage others to tackle more GA caches. =D> =D> \:D/ \:D/
