The 2 Dogs first find: Sydney Cache by 'Peter Sturart' 27/5/01

Peter Stuart is aka Iryshe, the admin account for Jeremy Irish, with no finds recorded.
I also trace myself back to here. I suspect that Jeremy actually adopted the cache from Peter Stuart, but I stand to be corrected.
I find myself there too but when I was browsing some of the other caches listed for Iryshe I found a great quote in the cache description ...

"In addition to placing the cache there we visited 42N91W and 42N92W as part of the project on http://www.confluence.org. There's just way too much fun to be had with a GPS receiver." Its from GCC0 Observatory Cache. The emphasis is mine.

It's very easy to get thrown off the track by adoptions.

Mine is exactly the same as this as my first find was also hidden by Bubble and Squeak!
-The Hill 4
-Panic! (now it gets hard since Panic!'s logging was rather sporadic)
-Myriad
-Quasar
-Hunter1NZ (finally out of Canberra)
-The Desert Dingo
-Chris Rohner (aka sewardvanlee (now in new york))
-Geojoe
-John & Everest (aka travisjl)
-redd
-gdeas
-seandhi
-MaximusNT
-Brad Robb (aka gm100guy)
I can't believe this is still going. I could stop now since this last guy's first find listed in on his own cache, so in the interests of seeing how long it takes I'll keep going.
-androbb (any relation?)
-Darkwing
-russ&rob
-GekoTeam
-MaximusNT
Finally! It loops!

Team Wibble wrote:I was surprised at how short my genealogy was!
Team Geocoopers

Karl Gramp.

And then Madcat, if you go into the loop of caches found after placing caches, but I'm going to stop at Karl Gramp's GCEB "Sandy Creek" placed in December 2000, the first in South Australia.
Mine ends with MadCat (aka Sam Morgan) looping with Karl Gramp too, thought it took a few more steps to get to than yours!

Mine is:
Nautilus7497
Trunksnsuch
Mr Coffee and the Coffee Clan
Team Crackers
Tankengine
hiqt
Alex, Helen & Jock
Karl Gramp
Sam Morgan aka MadCat
then it loops back to Karl Gramp and does neverending circles. :)

According to my "official" GC first find though, the order should be:
pwags
pprass
then on to Team Crackers where the list becomes the same as above.

I found the Long Jetty (by Nautilus7497) cache first, and logged it on my phone, and actually found the Devon North Servicemans Memorial (by pwags) as my third find - but for some reason GC has the DNSM as my first....

Definitely a fun little exercise to do. Thanks!! :)

If I follow the current owners of caches, mine looks like this:

Reggie81
2Dudez
The Englands
RoundCircle.

Hey, that means I'm my own ancestor. I must have been caching in another life. And I'm still not any good at it.

Does this mean if I add a parent that they are sent an email ? Looked in the Wiki under genealogy but came up blank.

Short list for me!
My first find was "Only The Good..... " GCG96N hidden 13/6/03 by The 2 Dogs
Their first find was "Sydney Cache" GCB7 hidden 14/11/00 by Peter Stuart
Peter Stuart seems to have hidden two caches and found none.

GCB7 is an interesting one, find logs, no DNFs near the end, no needs maintenance, and no archived logs by a reviewer or the owner. But it's archived.

How did that happen, and I wonder if it is still there?

Peter Stuart has an account and is owner of Sydney Geocache relocated GC1F11.
It does seem odd though that as others have mentioned, Sydney Cache is "owned" by the admin account of Jeremy Irish. I imagine archived logs hadn't been developed on the website yet in 2001.
