How do I become a Reviewer?

I just saw that theUmp has decided to take a rest for a year, so I am putting my hand up to help fill the void... is there an application process, interview or psychological assessment?

Pretty sure you have to be a well known and long-time cacher in the community you're a part of.
I also believe you "get the call" rather than putting ones hand up

My process for sabbatical was:

Step 1: get tired
Step 2: decide to take a break
Step 3: Choose successors, get them OK'd, approach them, get them 'trained'
Step 4: Profit!

So, you're too late for Step 3, sorry.
