I tried to look at the forum last night and got a nasty message that I'd been permanently banned for spamming or somesuch. I took a screenshot. It was tied to my IP address which was just the wi-fi I use with my phone. Now I'm using the Qantas Club wi-fi it works fine and I'm no longer persona non grata. Different IP address of course.
Just thought you'd like to know you have a spammer amongst you now!

Yeah, we know about this sort of problem. Not much we can do as the carrier reuse IP addresses willy nilly and we try to keep the spammers at bay.

Happened to me as well and turning on and off the phone fixed it

I think other people using Telstra where getting this as well because they NAT IP addresses rather than assigned each mobile user a separate IP address. In the past it was affecting Google map or OSM users.
