How do you set the alerts to ignore the ones that I have already found?

Re: Alerts
Alerts are used for new cache publications. Existing caches shouldn't be alerting. The possible exception are Moveable caches. Can you explain a little more on what you are seeing.FurfacesLL wrote:How do you set the alerts to ignore the ones that I have already found?

Re: Alerts
I have the same thought on the moveables. If you get alerts for a new cache, then moveables are considered "new" when they move, even though you have previously found them. Because after all, they are in a new spot where you haven't been before (except in the current game where they seem to turn up at the same spots often!)
But it's a bit complicated I expect because lots of people want to know when a moving cache turns up in their area, especially for this game , even if they have found it before. And then others don't want to find it a second time.

Re: Alerts
sorry I should have clarified, yes I mean the moveables...I am getting notified each time they are moved and some of them I have located and chosen not to move them on from their hiding spot. I thought the alerts or notifications were only for the new caches. So this is normal?

Re: Alerts
It is normal. We haven't got anything that tells us whether you are no longer interested in a given cache when it moves.
I've added it to the development list for then the cold weather stops us getting out and about.
