Logging onto Geocaching.com
Is anyone else having difficulties in logging onto Geocaching.com? Whenever I try to, I get the "Log In to Geocaching.com" screen with my user name and password pre-filled. I then click on "Sign in" after clicking "Keep me signed in" and nothing happens. I then overwrite the pre-filled name and password and nothing happens.
I found though that if I cklick on "Hide and Seek a Cache" from the "Play" drop down box, then on the top RH corner I get the message "Welcome, Visitor!" with the "Sign-in" link just below it. If I click on "Sign-in" and enter my name and password, then I can get in, but it will not remember me, so the next time I try to get in I have to go through the whole routine again.
Any thoughts anybody?

Re: Logging onto Geocaching.com
I was having issues logging caches yesterday. I'd fill in the log and when I pushed submit I'd get a server error. If I went back to cache page, then into the logging page, pasted in my text and it worked. Happened on half a dozen caches, then it seemed to come good.

Re: Logging onto Geocaching.com
Does anyone else get kicked out about every two weeks? It used to happen after shutdowns but I have had it happen twice in the past week. It happens more often than I'd like. I've got myself signed in permanently and it works most of the time but now and again I get the home muggle screen.
What I also note is that the username and password are never saved even though that's the default for me on most websites. It doesn't even have my username pop up when I start typing. Normally in Chrome I get an offer to save the password in addition to the "stay signed in" that a website offers but I never get this on GC.com.

Re: Logging onto Geocaching.com
Yes - I am experiencing that as well. However I am wondering if it is because sometimes I am logging on with my tablet or with the smart phone and whether that somehow resets my main log on? ie so when I try to log on from my main laptop after being previously on with the tablet, I have been kicked off the site.

I know if you log off on one screen it logs you off on all.
I have had this happen but I assumed that it was my Anti virus software running the weekly scan and wiping out cookies.

Is anyone else currently having problems logging into the GC site? It's not accepting my log in details at present ?!?!?
Hope it's just a temporary thing

Perhaps they've locked everyone out so they can finally publish the 2 millionth cache without any archiving going on

When ever I try to load a cache page I get "500 - Server Error". All the other pages seem to work... ???

Re: Logging onto Geocaching.com
Funny as soon as I got back in after posting this I found myself logged out again! Then I couldn't log in. So it's not just me this time.
I see the numbers jumping up lately towards 2M.
