Your area for the next event?? Think you know a great spot..

Post by jgc3 » 05 September 12 10:42 am

Hi all,

We've been looking for some time as to where to take the BIG Little event
next as we want to take it on the road and offer a larger event to areas that
may not normally get one..

So if you know you're area well and think there's a place worth us checking
out please send me info or links so we can have a look.

You can see More information at www.BIGlittleEvent.com about the current event.

Thanks
James

subtle, isn't it. :D

Well , last year i found a great spot for another MEGA, but waited till Albury was over.
During the winter months , did all the ground work and the location had all the attributes for a large MEGA.

The place then got reserved and a we got a 15 page contract set, which i have.

Shrek from the SA group was keen to progress with their interest in a MEGA, and asked if i was doing Easter 2014 . We stated no, as i felt the days were too short in late Easter that year. The SA group is going to make an announcement shortly about their Easter 2014 venue and i have been assisting with some start up details.

I have told Shrek , i am not being involved in a mega that year if they go ahead. So, my contract will remain unsigned and just in a "reserve state " if their MEGA does eventuate..We have done all the groundwork with entertainment companies and also have permission from the government department for a fireworks show during a high fire period or fire ban. Team Crackers is well aware of the situation . We have also reserved the same place, same date the following year, which is also not at Easter.

At this stage , its all about the SA attempt and i am fully aware of the location . They will be along to make an announcement in the next few weeks.
You should fully support their efforts to date as they have been progressing nicely through the winter months.

Hazelwood Pondage is not far from where I live. Could be worth checking out by phoning the pet-friendly Caravan Park. Artificial beach, water warm all year round, with quite a few cachers and caches in the area and beyond.
