notifications & cache logs from GC.com - not receiving

There seems to be a massive problem with GC.com sending out emails today.

Just checked and it has been reported on their forum.

But we had a new cache published this afternoon at 4pm, and noticed it on the cache page about 4.30ish, got the owners notification about 5.28pm then got the new listing notification at 6.28pm, but the cache had been found already by then? And then it was sent again at 12.15am.

Also 1/2 of my cache logs on my owned caches havent come in as emails either.

Hopefully they are working on it. Just thought we would share it, in case anyone else wasn't quite sure what was going on.

No notification coming through around Melbourne area

Some mail is coming at the right time some is up to four hours late on the bookmarks and watchlists that I have. There is a difference in the delays between the two types of lists but both are affected.

Some server problems they have been having are being addressed early this week. This might fix the problem. Fingers crossed.

Well of my 50 or so owner logs I should have received yesterday I got maybe 10.

I got none at all on my new cache should have been 2.

It seems to not yet have been acknowledged as a fault on gc.com

I have been having intermittent problems for a while with notifications, but this fault as of yesterday
is worldwide reading the forum there.

Hopefully they are working on it and simply not replying as they don't have a fix yet

The status page lists the service as "impaired". I guess that's an accurate description, as I am getting a few messages, but nowhere near what I expect..I was thinking yesterday seemed a bit quiet around the watchlist

Well, it seems someone has poked a bit of wire up the pipe and jiggled it about a little, a few messages are slowly trickling out now.

We often have this happen (a couple of times a month) and it seems to last for a few hours/day but this time is worse than ever!!
Most frustrating re new caches being published, not so much for the FTF but the fun mini events that often happen at a new cache that we have missed!
