If 3 more people would kindly get 350 Points with 30 Events that would be most appreciated

Ah, no. I think everyone should just stop now!Zalgariath wrote:If 3 more people would kindly get 350 Points with 30 Events that would be most appreciated
( I am a bit worried about "themd" as my biggest threat to remaining in 10th place.)

Re: GeosportZ 2012 - Questions and Clarifications
I'm happy to see people challenging and battling for some of the minor placings. Even if they are ultimately determined by luck, it's still entertaining to see the anticipation in being bumped down to a winner place on the ladder.

Agreed! It certainly keeps me interested in the game til the end, even though I've reached 350 points.caughtatwork wrote:I'm happy to see people challenging and battling for some of the minor placings. I don't think FelixII is going anywhere. Finding a 0.25 point cache is impossible...

Hopeful question here...
For the Decathlon or the Heptathlon, do all the caches you find need to be published before 1st July 2012, or only the one you claim for the requirement? So, can you find a mix of new and old caches, as long as the one you do your point scoring off is pre-game?
It's in the spirit of the game. It still avoids people placing high scoring caches within the game period just to claim them.

The reasoning behind this is to stop a "mate" hiding a cache at your front door which meets a requirement and bumps your points.
It's a no-cheats rule which I sorry, but everyone gets hit with.

Way to panic me, LL!! I thought that means we'd slipped to third.Laighside Legends wrote:I see we have a new person in 1st place...
Marcus Vitruvius has been in 1st place for 4 days now, I congratulated him on the previous page of this thread.
-Mrs Wibble, who is not obsessively watching the ladder, oh no.

For sailing, would Sydney Harbour count as a 'beach'? I'm wonderding if this cache would count - http://coord.info/GCKKTY

Re: GeosportZ 2012 - Questions and Clarifications
Sorry, I'm going to have to say no. There is no swimming. There is no sand. It's at waters edge, but it's not a beach I'm afraid. UNLESS ... if you head down there in your swimming gear WITH a beach umbrella AND a beach ball (inflated) AND zinc cream on your nose AND you set up as a beach AND you take a photo of yourself there ... then it looks like you're at a beach to meToriaz wrote:For sailing, would Sydney Harbour count as a 'beach'?
