Is it okay to do decathlon and heptathlon on consecutive days? So if I got 9 on day one and 8 on day 2 (or vice versa) I could claim both?
Yes.
Can one break a powertrail gathered on the same day into decathlon and heptathlon pieces?

:-$
Heptathlon
Find and log 7 geocaches of any type in the same day in order to claim this requirement.
You can use 7 of the series in one day for the Heptathlon.

Decathlon
Find and log ten geocaches of any type in two consecutive days in order to claim this requirement.
You can use UP TO 9 of the series in one day for the decathlon BUT as it's over TWO CONSECUTIVE DAYS, you MUST find one on the previous or next day. You cannot use the SAME caches for BOTH requirements and they MUST be found on two consecutive days.

I thought I had it.... but then it only led me to the month
Given the obviousness of the answer you will kick yourself when you work it out.
It took a few attempts but I finally tracked it down (marks date in geocaching diary) :-)

You can PM me for confirmation if you like, just in case you got it wrong.

Requirement 13: Gymnastics - do the words floor, beam, ring, bar or vault have to be stand-alone words or is part of another word acceptable? (I suspect not given how many words contain the letters "bar" or "ring"!

Me again.
For 23: Tennis it first refers to the numbers being in the cache waypoint and then mentions the latitude and longitude. I thought the waypoint referred to the GC code for example (such as GC1530J or what have you). Can the numbers be from the GC or GCA code OR the latitude/longitude as consecutive numbers, or have I misread the waypoint reference?

They do not have to stand alone. They can be incorporated in another word. So barring is OK as would be ringer.

Either/or (poor wording on my part). They do have to be sequential though.

Apologies for the pedantic questions. When you say sequential, does that refer to the individual score numbers (00,15,30) or the pair of score numbers? ie is S34° 51.004 E138° 39.305 okay, or would it have to be something like S30° 15.004?

If it is a Mystery, can it be either set of coordinates??

WHY DO I KEEP ON THINKING OF THINGS AFTER I POST ](*,)
And can your closest to home be locationless
I.E. You find a survey marker down the road from you

I need to be able to confirm the co-ords, so only what is listed, not what you have determined.

If you do GCA caches, then yes.
If you don't do GCA caches, then choose your preferred listing site.

Then choose the next one out. I can't force you to find a disabled cache.

A locationless cache has co-ords in the middle of the Atlantic, so no it's not the one closest to you.
