How Many Leap Frogs Have You Found?

Post by pjmpjm » 29 December 11 8:16 pm

I've had a couple of very successful frog hunting days lately and have pushed my 'frog log' count up to 65 -- as the half way point in the great race approaches.

But I know there must be others with much higher totals . . .

What about it? Please post your half way point 'frog log' totals here . . .

rogerw3? blossom not out? Yurt? Black Bunny? Just a Cacher?

I think I'm at about the same number you are, not all are unique frogs though. blossom* is over 100.

How Many Frogs? Let Me Count the Ways

Good question. To get mine, I just added them up manually ! The only official 'totals' I know of, are the 'total moveables' by state and nationwide.

Maybe someone else can help us out. :frogette :frog :frogette :frog :frogette :frog :frogette :frog :frogette :frog

I was going for total 'frog logs' and not unique frogs. But that's another interesting stat.

166 seems to be the most so far! Good work!

Download the Gpx file of your leapfrog querie into GSAK , first make a new data base, so you only get thr frogs.Tada, all your find are totaled for you.

17 unique - 24 overall. There aren't many frogs outside metro areas & having to find the same ones over & over doesn't appeal. I took an army of frogs down to Kioloa earlier in the week for Mr Roo to freshen up the froggy blood in the ACT, including one that didn't meet the rules. It'd still be here if I hadn't.

Oh you people

Go to your cacher page.
You can get there from the navigation tabs, My then down and click Cacher Page.
Sub navigation tabs, click Graphs
Scroll to the bottom of the list of graphs and there you can find a graph for Leapfrog

Tada :-)
Only counts during the actual game period.

Anomalies are likely caused by a frog which does NOT have a leapfrog tag, so you might come up one or two short. Check the caches you think should be on the list and if they're missing a tag, add it in.
Another anomaly will be the Leap Frog Hospital which is a locationless cache, but has a leapfrog tag. http://geocaching.com.au/cache/ga3478

Enjoy.
