I reckon the answer to being beaten to a frog is to know your enemy. I have a pretty good idea of all my competitors' home locations and work locations and even routes to work. I also know who doesn't sleep at night until late and who is ALWAYS in bed on a Sunday morning at 7am  And so I plan my life accordingly :frogette :frogette :frogette

I've moved 74 different frogs so far, what are others numbers like?

36 for me plus a few other GCA caches while I've been in the area.
http://geocaching.com.au/cacher/caughta ... 0020_finds
Biggest GCA month for me, ever.

By the way, this is also the 2nd biggest GCA month overall, ever (so far).

3,232 vs. last years 3,014
I expect we will blow last years game total out of the water, especially as we have some 450+ froggies in the game.

1 of which was actual frog blindness and 4 were people who beat me to the frog.
I reckon s_mc500 and themd hide at the end of the street and when they see me come along, they jump out, grab the frog and watch, laughing from their car.
Curse you s_mc500 and themd :-"
Maybe, but I don't have a car...

At least there's 3 fairly active frog hunters in the area, I can see if there were only two then could be long waits for another move.
Bike then. Or lawn mower. I still think you watch and jump of just as I turn the car up the street. I'll get you my pretty, and your little frog too.

We've moved 5 frogs to date... and am waiting for Goldfish to finish school at the end of the week (NSW school) before some well planned frog raids. :frog :frogette

I know I've got one unfound within a short distance of HOME but don't want to move him until we can get him into a better position for other finders. In a sense, the same goes for the one at Nerang (20km from HOME). Other than that closest frogs we can legally move are 80km in one direction and 112km in the other. :frog

Hoping things might pick up after Christmas.

28 so far.
Also the odd gnome or other movable seems to be sneaking into the odd hiding spot.

This will not end well. :gnome  :frog :!:

Only 24 frog logs for me so far -- since I've been stuck away up in the Blue Mountains much of the time since December 1st. :frogette :frog

Biggest surprise was discovering 'honorary gnome' Lizzie passing through the area. Did she think she could pass as a Leap Frog as well? (No lizard smilie available.)

I have found a grand total of..
...
....
.....
....
...
..
.
TWO. ](*,)

Turns out you have to be quick around here! (and/or a northsider!)

Oh, and frog blindness for the other frog? It was in a front lawn, at one townhouse. My gps was pointing to the car sitting outside a townhouse 3 houses away.
I was looking at that lawn very carefully trying to find it (little did i know what it looked like..), before the last finders pointed it out very obviously!

I believe there is one in your general direction up at Port Pirie!

The SA frogs don't seem to want to move much full stop!!

There are really only about 5 or 6 of us moving them!

Of the 23 frogs in Adelaide half of the ones near me I can't touch again til someone else moves them, half of the remaining ones are in limbo and the others I cannot get to! On my frog run last night to collect some to take interstate, I only managed to get 3!
Growl... I aim to collect some more from the bustling ACT and populate SA.

Are you sure that's not borderline stalking? :D

In Frog Blindness news, i was finding a group of frogs today, didnt have my gps on me, and was relying on google maps. I managed to find 9 out of 13!!
The other three....must of been at the trees i didnt look at, or had a boy look? (or thought "yeah, he's put it 2m up the tree, and i'm going to have to try and climb this tree now..")

Yep we have moved over 20 froggies. But saying that we drove 300+ km round trip to move 6, 2 weekends ago and then last weekend we drove 400+ km round trip to move another 7 (whilst on sick leave :-$ )

Hmmm but we're not addicted. ..... much....

We have missed quite a few along the way.

Also have done a count and there appears to be 27 of us in the West either placing/ or moving the frogs so far! =D> =D>
