Froggie Travel Agent

Post by blossom* » 25 November 11 10:45 am

I thought it might be a good idea to have a shared thread for all states to post any travel plans that frog collectors might have. If you post the dates and the suburb (and maybe transport you have access to) so others know the area you can quickly reach, people could hide frogs nearby at relevant times.

Obviously the airport is good for some trips but it's often a bit of a rush when the traveller is there and hard to get to for locals - Sydney aiport is a nightmare to get to, to park or to hide anything nearby. A number of times last year gnomes sat stranded near big airports.

So this thread can be a Froggie Travel Agent :D

This trip might require a pick-up location to be specified where you can easily get around 12th or 13th Jan? I reckon there might be a whole swath of frogs waiting for you, begging to be taken on a quick (and long) trip! :D

I know - that trip can bring every frog making it along VERY close to the finish line. And this is why the frogs have to come to me otherwise it would be way too easy

Black Bunny and Just a cacher are heading to Adelaide on the 22-23 December, and caching back through all sorts of places, about a week later....

I'll be doing a Mel-Syd-Mel trip, had a few gnomes hitch a ride with me previously except they were reluctant to come back.

Got a date? And where in Sydney would be good for you to pick any hitch hikers up?

TSV-SYD 1 December (wonder if there will be any up in Townsville this year?)

SYD-MEL 5 December
MEL-SYD 6 December (better leave it near the airport for me as I won't be able to grab any without a car while in Melbourne unless in Templestowe)

Wednesday 25th January - CBR - Anglesea (well the scout camp..3km away from there. Shh.) (Apparently it's 36km away from geelong. Believe me, i didnt know where that was before either..)
(Most likely taking the scenic route down there!)

Sunday 29th January - Anglesea - Canberra.

Might also pop up into sydney sometime.. (Generally the south west suburbs...or anything public-transport do-able..)
