Cruise Ship Caches

Post by Morley196 » 24 November 11 11:32 pm

Has any one thought of doing a virtual cache on a cruise ship? or any other cache on board? As I am booked on a short 3 day cruise cruise in march next year and hope to keep my continuous run going if it is still going then [-o< - is over 100 days ATM or am i just obsessed?

A GC cache would never get approved as such anymore, but there is a GCA cache on the Spirit of Tasmania, but I can't find it right now.

Surely there's a few silly locationless "caches" you can do while on a ship? There must be "saw a seagull" or "threw up five times" ones out there somewhere...

Papa is right.
On a trip through India and Bhutan, where caches are few and far between, I only logged two GC physical caches, but collected a few GCA locationless caches.

My only problem with this is IMHO I think a locationless should be found at a location, where someone can return to and verify. On a ship that's going to be hard unless you are logging an island visit.

cruise is just from Newcastle to Brisbane so it really is only one day I need (will upset the wife as i seek off to grab one early in the morning :-$ ) , so i will look around for some silly caches I can do, can always post a challenge i.e next to a fountain, there is one on board. Stupid things these runs once you get really get going you are reluctant to let them go, anyway may have been broken by then, as i have come very close in not finding them on the day, by a couple of minutes actually.
don't know how people can do a run for five years, Now that is insane ](*,)
