Our kiwi caching cousins got some good press recently from a CITO event held in Wellington. GC33F40.

The photo makes the rubbish pile a bit bigger than it was, but it was still a large heap of rubbish.

I have been to a couple of CITOs but was still surprised at some of the stuff found. You expect bottles and cans, but a computer chair, engine parts etc!

The grot award would have to go to the person who threw out the large bag of disposable nappies. It was disgusting, but begs the question a) who collects so many nappies without throwing them out and b) why dumps them on the side of the road? :-k

EWW. Just EWWWW. Maybe they were on a road trip and the McD's bin was full? Some people have odd notions on proper disposal of unhygienic rubbish. ](*,)
