cladocalyx-a small tree climbing challenge in St Albans, Vic

Post by bogonghazy » 01 October 11 8:10 pm

Hi fellow cachers,

I'm trying to get as many interested cachers to join the owner, MASON, and I, to take on this small tree climbing challenge
The date and time.....Sunday, Oct 16th, 9am. http://coord.info/GC2RTN3
MASON, (Mat) is an arborist who has all the harnesses necessary for safe climbing, and he is more than happy to oversee the safety
of anyone keen to make the 8m climb. He also isn't fussed for those that want to sign the logbook at ground level.
Mat is also keen to place more of these 'challenging' caches, and would love to gauge the thoughts of all and sundry,
so please come along and join the fun, and put a few faces to names on a pleasant Sunday morning.

Cheers Phil, bogonghazy

If I don't have an appointment booked then, I'm so there!

In the words of a good friend...

"Tree Up"

I will not be attending your tree up but I will do it one day with my own equipment.

I heard from some good sources that there are caches in the pipeline where "logging on the ground" won't be an option anymore. So this is a good opportunity to learn how to get them

Here's hoping I can get there, thanks MASON for making it possible! (I was starting to think that I'd have to wait until the toddler was big enough to climb it for me!)

I'll certainly be there, if only to take some interesting photos!
Thanks MASON for your support.

Thanks to all who made this a great morning
by turning up and joining in the fun.
And thanks especially to Mat and Drew, (Team MASON)
for the terrific explanations and demonstrations of all things climbing.
