look who is #1 now...

Post by shonkylogic » 25 August 11 10:19 pm

Somebody needs to quietly mention to Liz and Bruce that... ... [-( It's not about the numbers [-(

But they have just taken over Maccas to claim first rank for the number of finds for Australian cachers.

Well done guys... =D> you're not obsessed a little bit are you???

It's excellent work, though with Maccas in the USA at the moment they may not have uploaded all their finds there :?

They are both in the USA. And I believe there was at least one powertrail traversed by a small group of SA cachers....

Oooo A fight at the top!

I am just back from 2 weeks holiday in Europe and logging those 100 caches is bad enough. I dont envy the task of logging 2 weeks in the states including PT's :D

Not JUST about the numbers hehehe

Congrats guys... but as said it may take a few days for the dust to settle once both teams are home :D

Congratulations to Liz and Bruce on a mammoth effort in recent weeks. We knew what lay ahead after chatting to you and Skippy at the GeoBash. Our current Tour is nearing the end; we then have a couple of weeks in Dayton with Slider & Smurf and the grandchildren before heading homeward. See you when you get to Victoria.

Well, that IS an amazing effort! According to me they found near 1,600 caches in a month! It would take me that long to log them, let alone find them....

Obsessed? Only a lot! LOL

Well done Liz and Bruce.

Woohoo! I've just been waiting for Liz & Bruce to get their finds logged! It was a lot of fun helping them get past Maccamob on Route 66 and other caches last week. Both Maccas and Liz & Bruce are some of the nicest Aussies I've met, so egging on the competition was thrilling! :D

Congrats on climbing to the top, however long it lasts!

Congratulations Liz and Bruce - we were just thinking of you while doing a confusing cache of yours "Central Mount Stuart" http://coord.info/GC2H6HX (not because it was confusing by what you did, but because of the subject) and actually discussed whether you were clocking up the numbers in hoards.
You have now set yourself a task because if we know maccamob they have a target in sight and a plan to follow on their return to Oz - look out everyone!

Congratulations guys! 1600 in a month just blows my mind - those power trails must be amazing.

Well done.

Wow. 1600 in a month  but congrats!

At the rate we've been going, that'd take us a decade!

We are back in Adelaide and getting into our routine of doing a "normal" number of geocaches at each outing. It takes a bit more effort to find a cache here than it does on those power trails in the USA. We thank everyone for their kind notes. Competition for top spot - no not really - we just found ourselves in a great place to do caching, with the right company and went for it.
