Dessicant crystals

Perhaps I'm not buying enough electronics gear and cameras, but where do people lay their hands on
those bags of desiccant crystals?

If you've got an elderly relative it's likely they take pills by the barrel load so you can pick up all their empties. Oldies never throw anything out. These are the little plastic ones about the size of a rivet cache.

Best suggestion I've had so far was from The Morris, who suggested chatting up a shoe store.
They have the nice large ones and they usually just throw them out in the rubbish.
The Morris got a shoebox full after a week.

Thanks for the info about the shoe stores. I have tried to buy some for my photocopy paper container at school. Now I will just hit the shoe shop for something other than shoes which will be a little novel!

Nope I have one handbag and I use if for everything. Not a handbag collector actually. But shoes I must admit I have more than I really need.
