Yay! I am no longer a munzee virgin! Captured my first one today. Now if I can deploy my 3rd munzee tomorrow, maybe I will make Level 2!

Nice effort for an Aussie to make it into the top 25 munzee hunters.

Gee I'm 1 point away from level 3 and I am happy. I did notice gmj up there though. Well done. There are now 19 munzees in our local area. It doubled today.lemmykc wrote:Go Geofffluffyfish wrote:24. gmj3191 ( level 19 | 992 points )

I think I'm about to disappear off the list too.Zalgariath wrote:I hit a high of #16 rank a few weeks back, now dropped off a bit
It's beginning to go viral overseas I think.
The number of finds here are ramping up, but the stats are a bit hard to get a handle on at the current level of site development.

Re: Munzees!
There is a GSAK macro out that grabs the basic info off the website & puts it into GSAK for you, don't ask me where exactly (I'm at work & can't access it at the moment) but it is somewhere in the Munzee forum.Rigger64 wrote:Well i have now done two & i have also been playing with GSAK & now have a database for some of the local Munzees.

If you want a GPX of the Victorian ones I could send it to you.

Re: Munzees!
It looks to me like you can log a munzee before it has been deployed. Can anyone confirm this?
I captured one today less than an hour after it appeared on the map page, but the first capture was half an hour beforehand.
I suppose it is possible that it can take half an hour between deployment and it appearing on the map, and that the first finder was with the owner when deployed.

Re: Munzees!
I can confirm that you can't capture a non-deployed munzee. Honeysucker had one, I scanned it and it said it was not deployed. He then deployed it, I then scanned it and it worked. However I think there is a time delay before it shows up on the website map (I haven't confirmed this). Maybe this is the flaw that you discovered??team unicycle wrote:It looks to me like you can log a munzee before it has been deployed. Can anyone confirm this?
