And if it had been ABRC (Another Bloody Rivet Cache) no one would have known anything!

If you read the logs for the cache, it looks like the last finder (who was arrested) posted a 'TFTC' find log, and then later on just said 'Cache has been blown up, sorry about that!'. For all of us cachers in the know, it is pretty funny! I feel sorry for the owner though..........

Geo-Bomb Scare -- Absolutely Amazing
This BBC article took my breath away. I really hope our Australian situation [NEVER] reaches this level of fear. But it certainly bears considering.Philipp wrote:Article on BBC: http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-england-leeds-14039229

Should you have included a never in that sentence somewhere?pjmpjm wrote:This BBC article took my breath away. I really hope our Australian situation reaches this level of fear. But it certainly bears considering.

No No No... you misunderstand Rich. Pjm wants a police state where you MUST CACHE. Not finding and taking care of a a week will be punishable by "controlled detonation" of the miscriant.Richary wrote:Should you have included a never in that sentence somewhere?pjmpjm wrote:This BBC article took my breath away. Maybe I got caught up with the old slogan, 'Never say never.'Richary wrote:Should you have included a never in that sentence somewhere?pjmpjm wrote:This BBC article took my breath away. I really hope our Australian situation reaches this level of fear. But it certainly bears considering.
Anyhow, 'Never let anyone see you hiding a box in a public place' might be a good slogan too . . .

Yes. Such as, 'We have ways of making you geocache . . . "Zalgariath wrote:No No No... you misunderstand Rich. Pjm wants a police state where you MUST CACHE. Well maybe we just talk to the local police - if they know about geocaching and have a local contact, it could prevent calling the bomb-squad
