Read about it on New Years Day 2009 in the Sydney Morning Herald. My first of many DNF's the next day.

We did it one night at rovers (Scouts forbigkids18-26!), and i thought it was fun, and there was an app for my iPhone so why not? Have been hooked since.

Exactly 30 words :)

Introduced by a mate who was trying to solve a puzzle and needed some help on new years eve two years ago. I helped crack the puzzle and found the cache the next day.

Slightly over 30 words

My brother showed me his Garmin 12 one day and said "How do you work this?" I stumbled into the Geocaching a couple days later. :|

One of my students and his family did it and he kept telling me about it. Couldn't stand him being smarter than me.....joking.

On holidays at the beach we found a strange container under a bush, opened it, read the note and the rest is history.

My sisters kids took my kids out to find a cache and they bought it home to sign. I was tickled by the whole idea and the rest is history.

I first read about geocaching in Adelaide's Sunday Mail newspaper on my regular Sunday morning visit to The Throne Room. True story.

A mate talked me into trying it because he was convinced I walked like it. I'm now addicted and he has not cached in years!
