It would be interesting to see how many of those are active on the forums? Number who lurk and number who open an account but never return?

Based on the "User Last Visit" column of the forum database. 1970 indicates they have signed up but never revisited the forum.

None.
We vet every signup manually and delete at the front door anyone who looks like a bot.
There are some seach bots allowed in, but they only number in the tens.
