I am not, and will NOT put a leash on my cat, to take her for walks!! [-X
(I have muggle friends suggest this. Not you guys too!)
She can happily sit at home, and sniff them out, before the caches get set out into the wild. :)

I take muggle-dogs (as in, they belong to muggle friends..), that doesnt count i guess :)

I wish I had an exotic pet to take caching. I was hoping to get an iguana as a pet after having my photo taken with one on my head in Thailand recently (long story) but was gutted to find that you can't have them as pets in Oz. It's a shame - he was the coolest creature!

Back on topic - I have taken my dog caching just once and he was completely bewildered by the whole experience. He's the only pet I have, I'm afraid. Good luck finding some stories though!

Past readers of the GCA Forum will remember my entries regarding geocaching with my hamster.

The truth is: I never went geocaching with my hamster, nor with my cavy (guinea pig).

Both were wise enough to realise that it was, for them, a complete waste of time!

Four Persian cats feel the same way . . .

Only dogs will go geocaching!

Good luck with your article. Let us know when and where it will be pubished.

Ticks and leeches sometimes tag along, but they are definitely NOT pets!

When I bought a collar with a bell for our cat, it came with a lead. Just for fun tried hooking that up but it was pretty obvious even inside the house that wasn't going to happen

What about teddy? He goes in the van on our trips. He isn't that enthusiastic about the caches, though...

If you don't find any exotic caching pets, perhaps you could go with pet caching experiences?

Our 15 year old rough collie fell down a steep slope once, and played dead so that he could be carried up the slope. He did a very convincing job. We thought we were going going to have to dig a BIG hole when we got to the top! He died later, but not from that!

We have been trying to teach our Briard to sniff out caches, with absolutely zero success so far.

My only pet is a fish. He doesn't seem very interested.

I do know a couple who take there two dogs with them where ever they go. Have even joined them a few time back with the two hounds. The dogs offen get a mention in logs.
They are treated as there kids and go every where.
