I'm thinking in the Canberra area somewhere: on the front lawns of Parliament House; no that's been done. Maybe out near the Murrumbidgee.

Re: Australia's next Mega Event launch.
Sounds great and am hoping I may be able to get there next time.
What will you do if I turn up in my Subaru which has the aerial in the glass, eg no metal sticking up?
Just a thought for the committee to add to there long list.

1/ Every caching team will be met at the entrance of the venue and a small " Australian Flag " will be placed on the aerial of your car for the duration of the event.

Re: Australia's next Mega Event launch.
Thank you for all the kind remarks and colourfull guesses.
Some nice locations mentioned, but still no one has got within a 100km of the location. The car aerial in the window, we have the solution in hand for that.
All is set for the release Thursday Night at 8 pm.
The Australian flags are being placed on vehicles by the Committee on your welcome at the location. This is our idea.
We will give two last clues to the location.
1/ The event is not along any part of the Murray River.
2/ Nor is it located at a double town eg : 'Queanbeyan/Canberra ....... Albury /Wodonga. etc.....Keep the guesses going ..
The Committee is eagerly looking forward to the release and thanks all intents to date.

I don't know how they'll top the Wagga Wagga event but I'm sure it's going to be great. I hated for it to end last year. And, Yes it was worth flying from the US to attend! If there is anyway possible I will be there again. I'd love to see everyone again i was fortunate enough to meet at Wagga.

My wild guess would be Eden, south coast of NSW. Close to the border of Victoria.

Some where along the Great Ocean Road. I know Eumerella Scout Camp is quite large, but can't remember there being any deer.

Re: Australia's next Mega Event launch.
Some pretty good suggestions in the there including the Great Ocean Road, Grampians, and even the Dubbo Zoo.
But, not one of all the long list of suggestions is still close .There is no scout camp involved. This is no zoo involved.
But one last clue for all the people still guessing.
This unique location has deer grazing on the campground, but there is also another animal that is unique to the region that grazes on the same campground and the picture of this is in the release tomorrow night. There are kangaroo's about too. ( no, its not cows or sheep..its unique )
