I had some visitors at work today... I want My Gnomey:http://geocaching.com.au/cache/ga2880, Flower Power: http://geocaching.com.au/cache/ga2878 and Capt Whitebeard: http://geocaching.com.au/cache/ga2877 came along for a look-see.

Since this is a GeGnome project, it's only fitting they get themselves analysed. Luckily we have an Illumina GeGnome Analyzer.....

After that, there was a bit of hanging around the computers waiting for their GeGnomes to be calculated....

Not that you can tell, but this is a Ganglia display showing all nodes busy crunching numbers....

I hope they enjoyed their day and that you enjoyed these shots.
(oh, the results....suprisingly enough, ther DNA seems to mainly consist of plaster......)

Edit...next time, I will use a real camera....HTC phone camera fail....

Absolutely brilliant, and so appropriate! \:D/

Good to see these three escape from their bush grave, too!

I reckon if I found either of those ones, I'd feel obliged to make some clothes for them

I had so much fun the last couple of days I'd love to share some photos - but how??
I LOVE the posts here, thanks everyone.
I got Eromsil is the Controller of the Lismore (NSW) Gnome SES. I took him around some emergency services on Gold Coast and took photos. Nobody even noticed.

Hi Bristracker,
Many thanks for showing Eromsil so many emergency services in one day. He is certainly finding out a lot of information about various services as he travels around. Glad he is using his best manners as he can get a little demanding at times. I guess that comes from being the Unit Controller.

I was hoping to do that today, find and clothe their nakedness.

I would do the same, Dad said he got a few of those indecent Gnomes and I suggested clothing them, he just said he'd abandon them in the woods, unclothed! =D>

:gnome :-#

Poor little 'Steady' after his surgery being comforted by his friends 'Gnole' and 'Mud-Gninja', unfortunately 'Corrach' had left before 'Steady' came out of surgery.
The 666th GASH (Gnome Army Surgical Hospital) was on hand to clean the wound from scar tissue from the previous operation and thank to advanced techniques in micro surgery a new shoulder joint was inserted and the arm succesfully re-attached.
'Steady' has now recovered and should be released from hospital in a day or so.

The sartorially splendid Passion for Fashion (GA2882) came with me today to the surf carnival at Ocean Grove.

It was a pretty showery cold and windy day, but that didn't slow the carnival much
Image

The little guy really wanted a go in the surfboat, until he found out what they do with their speedos before they hop in...no self-respecting fashion guru would do that !
Image

He thought about a swim (between the flags, of course !), but the water looked a bit cold..
Image

The Ski and board section looked like fun too, but he forgot his paddle..
Image

In spite of his pink top, he was quite interested in the girls beach relay events...
Image

The surf rescue ute had fun dodging the boats as the tide got higher and the beach disappeared
Image

Hmmm...dunno what was going on here...
Image

Hope he he enjoyed his day in the fresh air..

He will be departing from the same places as his previous travelling companions did...keep an eye out if you're in those parts tomorrow... :gnome :gnome
