GeGnome Project - Photos and fun
Re: GeGnome Project - Photos and fun
Some photos now I have worked out how to do it.
GeGnome 4 Gnorton and Kabouter meeting up at the QLD NSW border. They helped me collect info for Cookout At Delta Bravo before heading south again.
Kabouter helped Gnorton find a new home
before he headed off to the big smoke of Lismore to explore and then find somewhere else to stay. Not enough nightlife at my place. He found somewhere not far from the local police station and the Catholic Cathederal so I'm not so sure he will get more nightlife there either.

From when I first found GeGnome 4 Gnorton.
This isn't how I found him but took a piccie to show him off.
He said it was too far from his hideout to the dining room of the club so he was really hungry.
Then he ate my snacks.

Mini gnomes all 3 of them..... these were very cute. Can you spot your gnome????
Re: GeGnome Project - Photos and fun
I can see mine... He is on the right of the picture. To get an idea of size Jiggly is just as tall as my Nuvi 500gps. which fits in the palm of my hand.tronador wrote:Mini gnomes all 3 of them..... these were very cute. Can you spot your gnome????
Are mini gnomes the same as dwarfs????
Thanks to everyone who moved Jiggly. I hope he brought enjoyment and fun to your lives while he visited you.
This photo shows that some s (probably more than we realise) have had a hard life and are showing the wear and tear of such a hectic trip around the place. BUT how many have needed coffins? Have not heard of too many which says a lot for the kindness of people who took the time to repair minor injuries sustained by players. Well done everyone!

Re: GeGnome Project - Photos and fun
Judging by the photos, only one so far!
(and i've heard of another one, where the gnome was moved, without realizing that it was armless, so the arm's been sent after it, in container, LOL)
..sucks to be geograduate! Oh wait, that's mine!
You know, i could of easily re-attached that arm, and kept him as a gnome, but no, someone had to make a coffin out of it for just the arm, and enter the other part of the gnome as ANOTHER cache. Sigh..silly me.
I did my first gnome surgery today. Hardest jigsaw puzzle ever!

The arm has now been reunited with the rest of the gnome! Surgery performed. Pix when I'm not so tired...

Thank you TaylorBrats - I was feeling so guilty about Shadow Gnome's arm. You've had a busy few days, performing surgery whilst also finding MetroGnome!TaylorBrats wrote:The arm has now been reunited with the rest of the gnome! Surgery performed. Pix when I'm not so tired...

Re: GeGnome Project - Photos and fun
Our family was lucky enough to have at least one Aussie visitor for Australia day. We had Wilbur the Zulutroop Scout Gnome with us for our annual Aussie day festivities at the park.
Wilbur and I found it hard to get out of bed to be at the park by 7am so we joined the rest of the troop there later on. Of course by then Wilbur was starving!
After brekkie it was time to raise the flag for the opening ceremonies of the Citizenship Ceremony. I see Wilbur almost got dwarfed by that witch hat (lame pun intended) Wilbur did such a great job at raising the flag that the band in the background bandstand changed 'Waltzing Matilda' to 'Waltzing Wilbur'.

Re: GeGnome Project - Photos and fun
After all that somber business out of the way it was time to play! I was really impressed that Wilbur gave the rope bridge a go and got over his fear of heights (not easy to do when you are made of plaster). He even did it the second time with no hands!
By eleven o'clock Wilbur was getting a bit testy even though I had let him sleep in. I tucked him in under a shady log where he slept soundly until being disturbed by the next finder.

So we were out and about tonight, and trying to find a place to move Shadow on to, take him out of the car, lo & behold, the arm has come off again (this time much care had been taken!) this time the arm has broken at the armpit.
Poor Shadow!
Not sure what to do. Anyone?
