I keep giggling at the thought of my mum ringing me up some time back, excitedly telling me that "they've swapped the gnomes and there is another one in its place, now smaller". She doesn't play gps games at all.

I agree. A work trip gave me the chance to drop 1 gnome in Perth, and head over to someone's house I wouldn't have met otherwise to grab 3 to bring back to Sydney. I wouldn't have met them if it wasn't for gnomes.

Now the race is over is it acceptable to find and move our own gnomes?

Yeah, sure why not. You don't know any more about their new hide than anyone else.

Excellent.
I hope all 238 of them make it and they take pride of place in your collection.

The postman handed me a package with our gnome pathtag as I was dealing with the wheelie bins this morning (no gnomes in them!). Many many thanks for this. I would photograph it with our gnome, but he has run a way to WA!!!

On a different note, is it jsut coincidence that this movie appears now??? http://villagecinemas.com.au/Movies/3D- ... ilm_gnomeo What are all the gnomes planning??

Got mine yesterday, thanks heaps C@W and co.

Are there any last minute requests for gnomes in Sydney? Most of them will be at a party tomorrow so I can pass on their orders if owners need :D

Hi Blossom,
It would be good if Eromsil could head north. I plan to make him a fixed cache at Regional SES HQ up here when he arrives home. BUT there is no need to send him direct. I have changed his mission on the cache site.
Jiggly may well like to continue seeing he is small many people will be easily able to collect him and take him places.

Cheers

I have Eromsil & live in the Shoalhaven. There must be some sort of barrier between my home & Sydney as I haven't visited Sydney since year 2000 & even that was a few Ks west of the CBD.

Will take Eromsil to an event in Shellharbour next Saturday & see if any SES volunteers are willing to move him on.
