Re: The Moving Cache Race for 2010/2011
We found a location in the mountains on the weekend where all the gnomes can rest at the end of the event.. ...in a public park too. .

Re: The Moving Cache Race for 2010/2011
I went to finish off my 3 gnomes to find that I had totally stuffed them up. The film containers that I had tried to glue in thier ... er ... rear end were pushed out of round so the lids would not fit, I gave up in frustration and threw them into the back garden. It was my good lady wife who calmed me down and gave me the strength to try again.
With film containers half pulled out the lids now fit, they look rather strange but they have all been placed out ready to go, just need to finish the cache pages. So Gnomeo and Juliette together with Stealth Gnome should be ready to go by Dec 1st.

Plans of mice and men. My plans went haywire with work and some recent rain. Only able to put two together for the Moving Cache Race for 2010/2011. Just entered the deatils for them to be published on the correct date.

Please list the coords of this place! It's too good a place to pass up as a final destination.the farmers 5 wrote:We found a location in the mountains on the weekend where all the gnomes can rest at the end of the event.. ...in a public park too. .

Oh, that's hilarious!
C@w, give her a dozen path tags for that effort, for accidentally finding my gnomes, and for the ransom note.
Brilliant work, Dianne!

If I knew how to get a photograph on the net, and if I didn't value my life, I could show you an entry for the Gegnome Casualty Ward, caused by Black Bunny himself!
Overcome with enthusiasm, Black Bunny left the foam-filling part of the preparations until the last minute (well, nearly). As a result, there is foam absolutely everywhere, except where it's supposed to go, including not in poor Candy Cane 101's gnome.
With 16 hours to go, what will the Bunny do?
Stay tuned for the next bulletin - or news of this reporter's premature death from having a big mouth.
Wendy (who luckily decided that filling her gnome with foam was an unnecessary thing)

16 Hours to go and we have 147 GeGnomes listed, no doubt now we will crack (sorry bad pun) the 150 victims, err... volunteers.

Lol, I have only just become aware of this game, yes sad I know. I wont enter, but please be aware, if you come caching in Gladstone Qld in the next 2 months, that the half dozen or so gnomes hidden around town are traditional GC caches, not participants in this race.
Cheers

Thanks to rogerw3 and J & J for their stash notes. I modified the one in a word document to make my own stash notes.I've included links to both here - rogerw3's is a word document while mine is in excel (I've printed mine double sided so the log continues on the back of the sheet)...note that the preview of mine looks distorted on box net but the download is fine!

I just registered the 150th gnome!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
And i managed to print off the log sheets too.
Now to hide them. This is going to be a long afternoon.
And to top it all off, Mr Bump still hasnt finished drying.
It's raining, and a balmy 15 degrees outside. Bugger.
