So when you hide it use a date of 1-Dec-2010 and on your publish log use 1-Dec-2010.
Then signup at http://www.cachinggames.com, enter your gnomish details and you're away.

Shouldn't you be packing? How many gnomes can fit in 8 suitcases? :gnome :gnome :gnome :gnome :gnome :gnome :gnome :gnome =D>
Have a nice trip

I have spent all day packing and stuffing and arguing and taking my beatings with shame.
We have 1 large suitcase with 2 smaller ones inside, 1 large suitcase with 1 smaller one inside, 1 large suitcase for the wife, 1 small suitcase with the "toiletries" and 3 carry ons. In all that mess there are 2 gnomes :gnome :gnome
You try and get all that plus 5 people in a Toyota Yaris.

I hope you've put holes in that suitcase so the wife doesn't suffocate! #-o

I've made up little "Gnapped by blossom*" signs to place when I get a gnome. Just so others know they may as well stop looking. I've made them on leaves so they'll just turn to mulch after a while.

What do people think?

It's fun to chase after gnomes, miss them, beat others etc but once you're at the spot and have missed it, I kind of like the idea of knowing I've missed out quickly rather than spend forever searching. Also, becasue the co-ords can be a bit sus with the speed of things, you can't always be certain you ought not to be searching 15m away. So it's eacy to spend a lot of time "just in case"

=D> :gnome
Blossom* using leaves? I would have thought petals more appropriate!

Love the idea, as I have a record of getting there too late it would save me a lot of time if I knew quickly that the :gnome has been gnapped. Not everybody has mobile Internet some of us still use pen and paper!

Yesterday I saw where you'd placed sticks in the ground in front of a vacated hiding spot from one I'd hidden there recently. Nice touch. I put a new cache into the same area but not the same spot. Of course it's gone now. These gnomes are moving around in Sydney a lot faster than last summer that's for sure! Imagine if we had the hard core GC cachers involved as well - we might not get any before they go! :gnome :gnomette

But....how long do those notes get left there?
Do they not just become Junk after some time?

I missed out on one at Gladesville this afternoon. Luckily Zal had last moved it so I could ring and check exactly where it had been as there was potentially a lot of undergrowth to search!
