My one request is, please dont make me die of a heart attack tomorrow night, when i open my inbox, and find i have about 2 million logs from here.

;)

That, and please be gentle with Slowpoke, mr bump, and geolady. One's hand made, one's missing an arm, and one's missing a...look, there's a reason why it's a mummy. :)

\:D/ We were only introduced to geocaching on 12th December. We raced home and joined then brought up google map of caches near us and found 5 gnomes within 15km's. So off we raced the next day to find them. Not to be another cacher had found 4 in front of us. We did find 1 though being Wilber the Scout gnome and we moved him on. This had us now very addicted and here we are 6 weeks later with 120 finds and 9 caches placed. If it wasn't for the gnomes we may not have been so addicted. We thoroughly enjoyed watching the updates and posting photo's. We also found a good hiding spot for gnomes so seem to have set up a local gnome exchange. Thanks so much for all the fun. Had to repair 2 gnomes though. They seem a bit breakable. Hope you follow through with new gnome race. Already on the lookout for our entrant should it go ahead. It has opened our world to Geocaching and also now heading to our first event in March.

After the Sydney event today I logged the gnomes I hadn't seen before (there weren't that many out of the 42 there) and I just checked and found that I've found 76 unique gnomes now.

Great event too by the way! :gnome :gnomette

The post gnome event in Sydney (in 42 degree heat) had 42 gnomes. Hmmm, is there a pattern here?

:gnome :D :gnomette =D>
A great time was had by all the :gnome and :gnomette at the 'The Gegnome Project-Post Gnome get together!' a fitting way to celebrate the end of the Great Race, with 42 Gnomes in attendence almost 20% of the Gnome population attended with a few less cachers there as well!

Not so many attendees at the start

Thanks for posting the photos of the gnome gathering :gnome :gnomette . It wasn't until I spied Jiggly right in the front that I realised just how small he is compared to some of the gnomes :gnome who participated. He is faring the travels quite well and hopefully will continue moving around the countryside for a while yet. Many thanks to all who moved him (and also Eromsil my other :gnome gnome)

Cheers =D> :lol:

How sweet. Does he jiggly too? You didn't happen to get a piccie of the two of them together did you? You don't happen to know his name/owner do you?
