The GC forum site has a thread on how many active caches there are from you in a ten mile (16km) radius.

I tried the idea for myself in Western Sydney, and came up with 148, of which 46 were mine!

I tried the same centred on Parramatta with a 50 km radius, and came up with about 1,500, I really thought there would be a lot more.

Someone from Sacramento in California has 2,200 in a 16km radius!!

Saturation for Sydney (assuming an area 50km x 50 km) is about 90,000 caches!

So how many do you have around you?

Within 16kms,

I have 6 left, of 99, GC caches.
I have 3 left, of 46, GCA caches.

Within 16km of me, there are 302 caches, of which 2 are mine, I've found 245, and I have 55 to go....

I saw that thread and worked it out before.

Near Hornsby (nthn Sydney) it comes to 428 within 16km (the metric 10 miles). 12 of those are mine. Have found about 220 of the total I think. Have found all but one within 10km.

1462 within 50km, almost sounds achievable!

I don't want to even try to figure out how many there are in total.

I have 688 within a 16km radius and about half of that circle only has 10 caches

There are 197 caches (119 unfound).

There are 259 caches (164 unfound).

I need to allocate some time to remedy this situation.

Looks good to me - lots of cycling required to collect caches within range $\:D/$

Actually looks like 2 years worth of caching within 40 km

add on antoehr 10 years for some of the puzzle caches

And I thought I had it bad with only 32 (3 unfound) within 10km!!!! .... but then I am suburban Melbourne, so SHOULD have more than that.

There are 1,498 caches (1,308 unfound).
Within 50 km radius
There are 1,721 caches (1,529 unfound).

Last time I looked at this we only had about 80 unfound within 10km but there has been a real burst of new caches around here recently!!!
