SEQ GC caches needing adoption (Redland Bay area) (adopted)

Post by fehrgo » 13 April 10 3:38 pm

I'm relocating to the ACT shortly and need 4 geocaches in the Redland Bay area adopted out. They are ammo cans in bushland located on a loop of trail, and are fairly self sustaining. They get maybe 3-6 finds each per year. A walk to all four of them is a decent but enjoyable workout.

They are:

GCYKP1
GCYKP5
GCYKP6
GCYKP7

Maintenance on them so far has involved a visit every year or so to check on them, as well as monitoring the logs.

While they would likely survive for quite some time without someone watching them, I'd prefer that someone local took them over.

Regards,
Eric

fehrgo,

I am happy to take them on if you would like. I think I have done at least two of them. I am just up the road at Alex Hills.

Thanks GhostGums, I'll see if I can figure out how to transfer them over.

Bewilderbeest, I hear the ACT has a lot of nice caches to be found, especially of the type that require a bit of a hike to get to :) Hunting down a few of them should be a good introduction to the area.

Its the home of hilltop caching, but there's also a heap of puzzle caches - bring your thinking cap, I think you'll have fun!
