Hello to all,

A complete noob here from the lower Blue Mountains NSW who has just stumbled upon Geocaching via a friend. Im from Mt Riv and have extensively travelled the area on foot and bike. Having a peak I see that there is pleanty about to be found. How the hell didnt I know about this before now ?? #-o

I'll be off shortly to find(hopefully) some of the caches and would be chaffed if an old hand in the area is happy to have a novice tag along for company, let me know.

Cheers all,

Naboo

I made my first 2 finds (happy dance). "Turners Road", I thought i needed my Mr Magoo arm extension to get at the cache. "Happy Snaps" was a good easy one with a great hint. =D>

I just noticed 2 that I drive passed twice a day to/from work. Details are now kept handy for when there is a chance to stop and find.... and a few others that are close by :)

Hey all,
So I'm not so new to Geocaching (about 18 months) but new to forums.
Real name is Debbie (go figure) and I'm from the Mornington Peninsula but currently living in Camberwell.
Decided to join the Aus Forums after attending the Mega and basically everyone I talked to advised me that this was the way to go :D

G'day all..
Tagged myself as Goyder, but came into this world as Steve!
Currently living in the Port Pirie area, originally from Adelaide.

Joined up in October 2011, but never got firing... but I have now!
Had a mixture in the last week, went out during the day and found a few, but I've had more success at night.... found 9 tonight and a trig point.
Starting to get a feel for this.... and I'm quite enjoying it.
Hope to catch a few of you out there

Keep Cheering!!... Goyder

Hi

I'm Matt and new to the geo scene. Have known about it for a few years but never got around to having a go. Have picked up my first few caches and seem pretty hooked on it now :)

I'm Launceston based but happy to travel about the place! Look forward to what the forum has to offer :)

Cheers

Matt

Welcome fellow Launcestoner (well I'm up Paper Beach way really.......)

Be careful, this game can get addictive!

Hopefully I'll catch up with you sometime!
We just had a bit of a dinner at Riverside last week where we caught up with some new players

Feel free to drop me a line if you need help with anything!

Howzit! (as I used to say in South Africa!)
Brand new to this in Townsville, QLD, and hope it will complement our adventures all over the place whether we are in a kayak, camper trailer, motorbike, under water or on hikes!

Will have lots of questions no doubt - eyeing my first cache this long weekend!

Did an intro in the Tassie area but figured I should stick my head around the corner here too, I'm in Launceston and after only a couple of days I'm a bit hooked I think lol
Great excuse to tour the state and beyond!

Hello,

My name is Erin and I am from Melbourne and am new to the world of geocaching. As soon as I heard about it I was really excited! Would be keen on getting together with others to share some geocaching adventures!

Found my first cache by myself the other day (well I dragged my brother along because I needed some extra height to get to the cache!).

:D

Hello! my name is Steph, I'm 21 and go geocaching with my nan. She quite likes it, though we're new to actually playing, I've known about it for ages. There aren't many near/in forbes though. MUST FIX.

Hi everyone,

I've been lurking for a little while and decided it was time to introduce myself.

My name is Mark and I've been Geocaching since last April. Experiencing a dry spell at present. Too cold, too wet etc plus some puzzle caches that I want to go after and doing my head in.

Cheers,

b.
