Competition for high finders

Post by The Spindoctors » 27 November 09 4:24 pm

The Podcacher podcast is running a competition for those with a high number of finds.

In their words (http://www.podcacher.com/?page_id=636):
The geocacher with the best true caching story for their number of finds category that they posted in a cache log at geocaching.com will get a free coin/pin set with custom engraving.

Contests for 100, 250, 500, 1K, 2K and 3K finds are closed.

Current contests: 4000 finds, 5000 finds, and 6000 finds - NOTE: CONTEST EXTENDED TO NOV 28!!

You can enter into any and all of the categories that you qualify for, but can only win 1 time.
Your original log must mention your milestone and tell your story.
You may not go back and edit your log entry now.
Aaron and Tess of CoinsAndPins.com will be choosing the best story in each category.
To enter the contest, follow the appropriate link(s) below - and enter your geocaching name, the GC code for the milestone cache, and a LINK to your log of that cache.

Enter the 4000 finds contest
Enter the 5000 finds contest
Enter the 6000 finds contest

Note: If you already have the Geo-Achievement coin for the level that you win, you can choose another one - either for yourself or as a gift for someone else.

Contest entry deadline: November 28, 2009
There number of entries have been small, so I figure those that entry have a decent chance of winning.

I noticed that the following could apply:
Maccamob, Everlasting, Alansee, Liz & Bruce, Feathertop, If, moneydork, ADV, Team Crackers, Freddo, rediguana, Robmc, pprass, Team Astro, Aussiecacher, acts2youthgroup, four-fun and Thewonderstuff.

Good luck guys.
