Geocaching mentioned on the ABC
Geocaching just got a mention on Australia all over
Wendy from QLD called in to comment on the Q150 project and mentioned geocachers as a group of GPS users and the activity as gaining popularity with a couple of Brisbane councils
Macca not surprisingly was too stupid to ask a follow-up question and let geocaching go through to the keeper

Re: Geocaching mentioned on the ABC
Macca has got to be the radio host with the least personality and worst "personal touch" I've ever heard. Never has anything interesting to say and just offers trite "um yeah great" comments to the most amazing things. Vast majority of country folk seem to love him though, no idea why. He's some inner city clown who can play a guitar by all reports.
The show's been going for 20 years or so. I must be wrong.

If it's any consolation/reassurance, you're not the only one who is wrong.Yurt wrote:Macca has got to be the radio host with the least personality and worst "personal touch" I've ever heard. Actually, the radio hosts on the indiginous radio station at Lightning Ridge were a hoot, they sounded so bored with what they were doing! I mean, we missed listening to them after we left cause it was just so dry and funny (To us).
