Vale Malby the GeoHound

Post by rhinogeo » 18 September 09 5:42 pm

My old dog affectionately known in geocaching circles as Malby the GeoHound today moved on to the happy cache hunting ground in the sky

At just over 16 & 1/2 years he was a good companion on many cache finds over the years

So long old friend

That's very sad to hear Rowan, I know what a loyal friend and caching hound he was. Several of our local trips were spent with Malby as company and he will be missed. That's a beautiful photo you've posted of him too, I didn't know him when he looked that young!

Vale Malby.

Sorry to hear that Rowan :( Losing an old and faithful pet is, in so many respects, the same as losing a family member. It's a pity they don't have the same life-spans we are blessed with :(

My condolences

Such sad news! I'm so sorry. Unfortunately I know how hard it is to lose a geohound. Such fantastic photos though!!

So very sorry to hear that. Shell and I lost our caching hound Kostya (brindle male seated) this week.

It is a hard time but each day we remember the good times we had together. They really are our best friends!
